New Permit Paves Way For Live Nation Concerts At SF Armory

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) — San Francisco's Entertainment Commission has approved plans for The Armory at 14th and Mission in San Francisco to host concerts produced by promoter Live Nation.

According to Curbed.com, the approval will allow the company to expand concerts offered at the venue from the one a month that had been previously authorized to one per night and extends the hours of the venue until 2am.

The building's current residents, fetish website Kink.com said that they are talking steps to allay concerns by locals over noise and traffic at the 4,000-capacity venue.

"Over the past three years, we have had about 50 events without incident, including fundraisers, theater events, festivals, big parties, and sporting events. After hearing from residents, we are working to further soundproof the building, employing additional security guards to manage people outside the armory, and adding clean-up crews to make sure the area around the armory remains pristine," A kink.com rep told KTVU Fox 2 News.- Staff Writers
